The Great Unwaste
In 2025 and 2026, I worked with Powerhouse Consulting to create video and photography content for the launch of The Great Unwaste, a campaign created by End Food Waste Australia with the aim of reducing household food waste. The project required creating a suite of videos and still photographs of Key Opinion Leaders, documenting the launch event at Crown Casino and delivering other campaign pieces which required video editing and motion graphics work.
One substantial piece was creating a Food Waste Workshop video delivered by former Masterchef contestant Alex Crisp and Foodbank WA. This sat alongside promotional material to offer an alternative to attending in-person workshop events.
The subsequent video work after the launched involved creating content to promote and document The Great Toastie Challenge. This was a nationwide campaign which involved Alex Crisp delivering workshops in Adelaide and Toowoomba.
I travelled to Adelaide to document the launch event in Rundle Mall as well as gather footage from food waste awareness events and a Foodbank SA workshop on food waste. These materials were then worked in post-production to create videos which communicated the outcomes of the campaign.

The Great Unwaste launch video and photo content. There were many pieces shared across multiple platforms, in different formats, featuring the different KOL’s for the campaign, here is a wrap up to get a bird’s eye view of the whole suite content.
Workshop
Educational food workshop video, we worked hard to make the video engaging and also to communicate the ‘unwasting’ behaviours clearly.
